Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for anyone who wants to improve their English and who does not already have a GCSE grade C (4) or above.
Entry Requirements
None, before joining a course, all learners will have an initial assessment to ensure that you are on the correct level course.
What You Will Learn
This course will cover Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.
Course Aim
Improving your English will help you in everyday life and work situations. You will be able to gain a nationally recognised qualification in English.
Course Length
2 hours per week up to 40 weeks.
What You Will Need to Bring
Notebook, pen and pencil.
How You Will Learn
Teaching and learning will be classroom based - led by a tutor and supported by independent learning at home (on-line resources and/or workbooks)
How you will be assessed
Initial and diagnostic assessment, continual assessment through the course, then final assessment is a separate exam paper for Reading and Writing. You will also need to take part in a Speaking and Listing assessment.
